THE 'CARVER' PAPER........

Tossing another stack of wasted paper, covered with elite type....I 'came across' a lengthy....for the time.....paper that I wrote, and had completely forgotten about.....on the life of George Washington Carver....that I submitted, in a Jr. High School writing contest (May 18, 1960).....removing the 'paper' from the trash can, I was motivated, gears engaged....so, it has been retained in "Historical Files", as fodder for another project..... over half a century later......as thoughts of sweet potato cooking projects flood into conceptualization......from typewriter to stove top.....a continuum......not so unlike 'from dream to drawing'......or from remembering the scent of a flower to making a test-tube perfume from it's petals and parts.....
