Self-Awareness

4 years ago, Merlin, a tiny kitten....seems not so 'self-aware'....later, as an adult, he studies his image in a folding mirror...... Not so unlike we humans...... He is always 'camera-ready', for this is synonymous with 'attention', isn't it? He is not, however, aware of the artistic or intellectual content of photographs, drawings, sculpture...well....any of that....which lacks sensory information...other than flickering planar visuals.....for only 'moving' images rivet his attention.....Real moving things.......On our traduction and transition into a Virtual Matrix World, we Humans are increasingly influenced by images on screens and flat surfaces.....tricked by artifice, to deny or exaggerate aggregate sensations......
